One of the leading healthcare experts in the U.S., Ruben J King-Shaw, Jr. is a former Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Ruben also served as Secretary of the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration and was appointed to the Obama Administration’s Medicare Program Advisory and Oversight Commission.

Tommy Thompson

Tommy Thompson is a former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and four-term Governor of Wisconsin. He was instrumental in the development of Medicare Part D and is currently focusing on improving the use of information technology in hospitals and other provider sites, while strengthening and modernizing government healthcare programs.

Philip Johnston is the former Chairman of the Board and current member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation and the Massachusetts Health Policy Forum. He is the former President and CEO of City Investing Company, a diversified $8B conglomerate with 400 subsidiaries in 50 states and 35 countries. Marshall was also President and CEO of The Home Group, where he executed a successful turnaround and sold its main subsidiary for $1 billion. Prior to his career leading business operations, Marshall was a partner at three national law firms and a name partner in two. He has served on numerous boards of public companies and charitable organizations.

Jim Dauwalter

Director Jim is the retired CEO and non-executive chairman of Entegris, an $876M revenue (2014), Nasdaq-listed company headquartered in Billerica, MA. Entegris is a provider of critical products and materials used in advanced high-technology manufacturing. Jim spent 36 years at Entegris.

Among other accomplishments while he was the CEO, he led Entegris through the listing process on the Nasdaq exchange. In addition, Jim has served on a number of boards, including: Metron Technology (now Nortem NV); Director at CreateHealth, Inc.; US BioEnergy Corporation; VeraSun Energy Corporation; Skyline Medical Inc.; Community Bank of Chaska; and the Wallestad Foundation.

Howard Shapiro

Howard has over 40 years experience as a Real Estate Entrepreneur and Developer. He is an expert in all facets of real estate including: strategic planning, acquisition, financing, development, and marketing. For over 26 years, he served as a Director and Senior Vice President of Pacific International Equities, Inc., Miami Beach’s largest, luxury, condominium, high-rise developer. Through his own firm, Howard Shapiro & Company, he invests in real estate development and provides consultancy services to the development industry. He also serves as the Developer in Residence at the University of Miami Masters of Law Program in Real Property Development.

Dr. Steven Gass
Director and Chief Medical Officer

Steven is an experienced clinician and healthcare administrator. He is currently the CEO of the largest national radiology, neurodiagnostic, and interventional pain management network; a network system with over 11,000 facilities. Steven chairs MedicFP’s Medical Advisory Committee, ensuring MedicFP solutions conform with provider requirements.

Keith Poliakoff
General Counsel

Keith is Co-Chair Government Relations and Partner with Arnstein & Lehr, LLP. He has extensive experience in representing parties before government. In addition to being MedicFP’s primary attorney and legal policy officer, Keith is responsible for directing MedicFP’s government relations efforts in numerous states.

Allan Voss
Director and President

Allan is both a founder and a member of the board of directors of MedicFP. He is an expert in developing, managing, and implementing extremely large-scale networked systems. Mr. Voss formerly served as Managing Director of Amadeus USA, and was responsible for the Amadeus system design and architecture of the Amadeus Airline and Cruise Reservations systems.

Jason Thompson is a partner with the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. He is a member of the Transactional Group where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Also a certified public accountant, Jason has served on multiple charitable boards and is an officer of Thompson Holdings, the Thompson family’s healthcare investment company.

Ken Mack

Ken is a CPA and CFF and is considered one of the foremost experts in Forensic Accounting as it relates to Business Interruption Insurance. He is a partner in the CPA firm of Kaplan & Mack, LLC in Fairfield, New Jersey and has extensive experience in forecasts, budgets and banking relations, especially in the areas of investment banking and pubic offerings. In addition to his general practice areas, he has extensive experience in partnership and corporate disputes and has taught several courses and published many articles on business interruption. Ken is presently serving and has served on several company and charitable boards. He also owned and financially managed a large group of franchised Wendy’s restaurants for several years until he helped to successfully sell the group.
