The MedicFP® solution validates presence and identity of the patient (and provider as needed) at the point of care before services are rendered. It includes a one-time enrollment process that involves the following: At enrollment, the provider/front desk receptionist scans the insurance and the Government ID cards to verify their authenticity and cross-references the documents provided to accurately identify the enrollee prior to creating the biometric signature. Once this has been verified, a biometric enrollment of the patient (and provider) is performed via a live-awareness facial scan and all of the related documents (insurance card and Government ID) are incorporated into the biometric signature, thereby ensuring accuracy and presence with every subsequent visit. This process is performed in seconds. After enrollment, the enrollee is automatically enrolled throughout the entire payer network, so there’s no need to repeat the enrollment process on future visits to any provider in a given network. The patient will only be asked for a biometric scan during each subsequent visit. This scan will automatically trigger a call to the payer’s databases to confirm insurance eligibility status. In addition, the scan just performed will be electronically compared to the biometric signature within the MedicFP system.

This is a full time role based in our Downtown Hollywood, FL offices. We are looking for an on-site Information Security Engineer. In this role you will be working with a team of Agile developers in a technology start-up environment. The department that this position reports to is responsible for managing Cloud and on premises servers and PCs (Windows / Mac OSX / Linux).

  • Design, implement and manage security tools and systems (IDS, IPS, VPN, WAF, DLP, Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, honeypots, SEIM, Vulnerability Scanners, Web Proxies, Forensic toolkits, MFA, key management) in a heterogeneous computing environment that spans multiple physical and virtual data centers.
  • Enhance the security posture of internal infrastructure and client-facing systems.
  • Perform security reviews of server / network / web application design within a virtualized environment and ensure compliance.
  • Perform risk assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing and patch management for Linux, Mac, Windows systems and web applications.
  • Work closely with DevOps and Software Engineering to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
  • Identity and access management across rapidly growing number of systems and applications.
  • Detect, investigate and recover from security incidents as well as assisting with incident response plans.
  • Responsible for raising company-wide security awareness and monitoring information security related web sites and newsletters to stay up to date on current attacks and trends.
